Documentation

grasscoding runs the world's top coding agents on sandboxed cloud computers. Connect a repo, pick an agent, and drive it from your browser, iMessage, Slack, Discord, or WhatsApp. Start with the quickstart, or jump to the section that matters most for what you're shipping today.

What grasscoding is

grasscoding is a hosted platform for running coding agents — Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor CLI — on remote computers that have your repo checked out, your install commands ready, your dev server running, and a stable preview URL anyone you trust can open. The same agents you trust on your laptop run remotely so you can drive them from anywhere.

Why grasscoding

  • No lock-in. Whichever model is currently #1 on SWE-bench, you can run it.
  • Real previews. Test what the agent built, not just the diff.
  • Drive from anywhere. Text agents from iMessage and they ship the work.
  • Parallel by default. Clone an environment in one click and run as many agents as you need.
  • You own the credit. Commits go to your GitHub identity, not ours.

What you can build

grasscoding is a generalist platform — anything you would build locally works here, plus a few things you couldn't.

  • Web apps, mobile apps, marketing sites, and dashboards.
  • Bots, scrapers, queue workers, and long-running background services.
  • API servers, agents, and microservices that need a public preview URL.
  • Greenfield projects from a starter template or any GitHub repo.
  • Side-quests like one-off scripts, data migrations, and quick prototypes you don't want to install dependencies for locally.
